Long-Time Country Financial Agent Leonard Williams Joins CLP Insurance Solutions as Commercial/Farm Agent
SPRINGFIELD, IL – CLP Insurance Solutions, a full-service independent insurance agency, is proud to announce that Leonard Williams has joined its team. Williams, a seasoned insurance professional with more than 25 years of experience serving clients in Sangamon and Macon counties, retired from Country Financial in December 2023 and will now serve clients as a Commercial/Farm Agent at the independent agency located at 3050 Montvale Dr Suite C, Springfield, IL 62704.
Originally from Macon County, Leonard has been a resident of Illiopolis for the past 48 years, and is now bringing his extensive expertise to CLP Insurance Solutions. In his new role, Williams will specialize in providing comprehensive insurance coverage for both commercial and farm clients, while also assisting personal clients with their home, auto, and life insurance needs. His deep knowledge of the agricultural community will be particularly valuable, as he will be helping farmers with all their coverage needs, including crucial crop insurance.

Cheri Plummer, who has more than 16 years of experience in the insurance industry, opened CLP Insurance Solutions in November 2024. Prior to founding her own agency, she spent more than 15 years with another independent agency in Springfield, IL, gaining extensive knowledge in both commercial and personal lines insurance. The addition of Williams to her team further strengthens the agency’s ability to serve the diverse needs of the community.
